Tisha B'Av תשעה ב'אב
Tisha B'Av (the ninth of Av), is a day of mourning commemorating the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple and other tragic moments in the history of the Jewish people.
Tisha B’Av begins at sundown (8:04PM in Canton on Monday , July 31, 2017) and continues until the following nightfall (8:35PM Tuesday, August 1, 2017).
Temple Beth Abraham and Temple Beth Am are partnering with Temple Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills for a communal observance of Tisha B'Av on Monday evening, July 31. The evening service will begin at 8:00PM followed by the chanting of the book of Lamentations (Eicha). Temple Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills is located at 18 Shoolman Way (off of Lodge St) in Milton, MA.
